Johnny Cash

Arkansas-born singer whose career ran from Sun Records rockabilly in 1955 through the Folsom and San Quentin prison albums to the American Recordings series with Rick Rubin that reintroduced him to a rock audience in his sixties. Died in 2003, four months after his wife and frequent collaborator June Carter Cash.
