Peter Frampton

English guitarist who spent the early 1970s as a journeyman solo act before 1976's Frampton Comes Alive! turned him into one of the best-selling live-album artists of the decade, built in large part around his talk-box guitar sound. Diagnosed in 2019 with inclusion body myositis, a degenerative muscle disorder, which ended his ability to tour.
